Trip to Amish Country: Longwood Gardens Interior

The Longwood Gardens complex would take days to explore in any depth. We had a couple of hours. We began with the 'interior' section, under glass with piped heat to create conditions suited to the unbelievable range of flora on display. This 'interior' area also contained an open area with ponds, but I have included that area in this post rather than as part of the 'exterior' -- which means, for me, the wide open spaces beyond the buildings.

There was a superb dahlia exhibition. We took in as much as we could of the interior, but only scratched the surface. We'll give it a full day next time.
